Finally settled in the new place. The boys have started school and so far they are doing OK. They have complained but I think it may be just nerves. They are happy that the bus picks them up at our mailbox rather than down the street.
School started one day late this year due to hurricane Faye and I think that is a good thing. The first week is always exhausting for the kids. As for the storm, we just had a lot of rain and it was windy enough to bend the flag pole over. Other than missing a day of work (and pay) and school, it was pretty uneventful.
Chase loves the new house. He can ride his three wheel bike through the whole place and not bump into too much. He has a room full of his toys and a t.v. for his game cube. He likes to play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on it. He likes the playstation too but the boys have limited him to only playing Jak and Daxter cause he has scratched or broken most of their other games. Yes, we do educational stuff too, but don't tell him that.
I am still hoping I have done the right thing by moving. The driving is taking some getting used to. And I'm hoping the bills will even out. Another thing is getting used to the spiders that have found their way into the house somehow. Huge spiders.
Speaking of bugs I can't get rid of, Rick is now really off limits for all of us. On Monday I needed to take Ricky to get some school clothes and thought that Rick could watch Chase for me while we went to the mall. He was calling every ten minutes. I answered the first couple of times then I stopped cause he was really being a pain in the ass. Wanting me to come pick up Chase stating that I was just using him. Whatever! Anyway, when we went there he was upset that I didn't want to stop and talk to him. Again, he wouldn't get out of the car so I started to pull out of the driveway with him halfway in the car. He got pissed and slammed the door so hard that it broke and now the door does not open and shut correctly. You have to yank on it. So, He's been calling and calling and finally on Thursday I told him that I am not bringing the baby over told him to stop calling me. He had his step-dad call my work asking if I want the door fixed. I told him no. He does not know that we moved and will be quite surprised to find that out, which if I know him like I do, it will be soon cause he will try to send Pappy over to find out about the door or something. I'm not even going to answer his calls anymore. I promise!
