School

Ok, so School started on Monday and my boys are still sitting at home playing on the computer. Yeah, I messed up a bit with the school thing this year.
I had called down to the administrative office the end of last school year and they told me that because scout had gone to school A for two years and was an eighth grader that he could continue going to school A this year even though we are zoned for school B. Now Feret would be a hardship case, meaning that he would go to school A only becaus Scout went to school A.
However when I sent them to School A on Monday they called me at 10:30am and said they needed to go to school B or go down to the administration office and enroll them in either school C or D. So Tuesday comes and goes because my boss is visiting with his grandkids who are only here for a bit and I can't get out of the office. So now it's Wednesday and I load the kids up and we come to my work and then we have to wait here for and hour then we head out for the admin office. We get there and ask for the person that school A told us to and we wait...and wait...and wait...45 minutes we wait. Finally someone comes down from that office and starts asking me why I'm there...turns out I was given the wrong name and waited for monthing. They sent me to student services and then it gets worse. Scout can go to school A, but not Feret. School B is a Title 1 school and thats why we don't want that one. Scoool C is overcrowded so that leaves school D. Fine, boys choose either A or B or D. Wait a minute not B remember. So choose A for only Scout and D for both. Finally Scout says "I don't care. It doesn't matter fine D" and he storms out of the room. Feret follows him and I'm left to tell the nice lady that they choose D.
Then she tells me that I have to go to the school to registar and its an hour away. I literally live on the opposite side of the town. We go and the boys like the idea of no uniforms. So I get back to work pretty late (almost 1pm) after dropping the boys off at home.
Hopefully they will catch a bus tomorrow with no problems.
