trouble's looming

He got out today! Already talked to the kids twice. Wants to see them this afternoon. Already asked for money for a haircut. I knew this would happen. I have to remember to ask him about the cat. See when I got kicked out of the last apartment we let him watch the cat. Then he was put in jail and the cat was at his Dad's house. We told his Dad we still wanted the cat but needed to find a new home for him. Now we have not talked to his Dad since he told Scout to call him back later on Christmas. I thought that meant that he didn't want to talk to us anymore. Since when do you tell your grandchild to call back later after only talking to them for 5 seconds!?. Anyway, our cat was really special to us. It was Feret's cat, he named him Hot Wheels. we all called him Kitty. He was nutered and his front paws were declawed, due to the leather funiture.

Anyhoo, I had Wednesday and Thursday off this week, cause we have been really slow with no work. I went to the bookstore on Wed morn. Spent 2 hours in there reading books in the bibliography isle. You would think that they would have chairs in the isles. I didn't feel like commiting to any one book for more that 5 minutes so I had to stand and read them. I don't remember the names of the books I found but I'll give you a run down...

1. Paris Hiltons book about how to act like an heiress. Really liked that one. I love the fact that she is so for real. It actually says in there that to look really cute all you have to do is loose things. Oh and have a lot of cell phones. Also, if you wear something twice you have worn it once too many times.
2. A book on side-show freaks. Could have been called the most unusual humans but whats the difference? I love train wrecks. Anything to keep my mind off my own train-wreck of a life! There was one woman who had an undeveloped twin attached to her. She had legs coming out between her own legs. It said that she had five babies, three with her own womb and two with her twins. Her husband got a two-fer-one deal. Weird.
Third and last one that I read with great interest was Goldie Hawn. Her cover really caught my attention cause of her eyes. No really her eyes are really nice, Kinda like Ferets! anyway I looked at the pics mostly, it was really interesting too.
There were other boooks that I broused through but cant remember right off the top of my head. oh, I did pick up Ron Jeremy's book. Really funny stuff in there.

On Thursday I cleaned house. Not like from top to bottom but sideways a little. I did the tables and the sliding glass doors. then I did the floors and the kitchen. I don't know how but the washer is not draining. So I asked Dad to look at it for me. He took things apart and put them back together. I ran another load through and still not working. So he went to the hardware store and got another belt. No go. returned that belt for a slightly bigger one and still no go. So I have a washer full of baby clothes and dirty water. Yum! I guess I will have to make it down to the laundry mat. Hey, why do they call it a laundry "Mat" anyway. I mean whats a mat?
