Well Grandmas home again. She went into the hospital on Saturday and she was pissed that we made her go. She's 92 and she was having a hard time getting from one place to another without getting short of breath. Mom called the ambulance and Grandma fought and cursed us for it. She had some fluid in her lungs and her blood suger was out of wack.

Mom and Dad were visiting her on Sunday and when they came home Mom said that G-ma is "loosing it". She thoughtshe was at a hotel and wanted Mom to stay with her at the hotel. She was worried about her money in her purse. (Oh, wait she always is worried about her money) Anyway she was apparently saying all kinds of odd things and we could not figure out if it was the meds or old timers. (like that? ; ))

On Monday I had to go to Scout's school for a review of his IEP and on the way home I stopped by the Hospital to see her. She looked great and was in good spirits. Then she started to tell me that on Sunday night she thought the nurses took two of my sons into another room and where keeping them. She hid behind her bed and would not let the nurses help her. It took five people to get her into bed and calmed down. She said she punched the Dr. in the jaw. (hee hee) She told me that it was only this morning (monday) that she realised it was not real. She really did need to be restrained but seeing the boys was not real. The nurses said that she did become combatant. She just wanted to come home.

She says her Dr is evil for perscribing her a bunch of meds that are not meant for the elderly. (she never did like taking her meds) I could tell last night that she was doing better. Although now my Mom is bickering with her about stupid things. Like last night G-ma was saying that the Dr gave her like fifteen new scrips. Mom was arguing that they are all needed and stuff, but I think that G-ma is just worried that she won't know what to take and when. She does not like to look stupid so she puts up a defense. I think I will talk to Mom today and see what she says.

Anyway, My brother Brad is down for a week. He will be a big help at the house. We have lots of little things that need to be done. Like putting linolium on the bathroom floor. Hopefully Mom will let him help Dad out a bit. Brad will be fun to have around, he's always pulling someones leg about something.

(hee hee my grandma kicks ass!)
